Armen Alex Grigoryan alleges Wheeler County Sheriff's Office interdiction deputies Timothy Pyle, Levi Havens, and Dale Cole stopped him on Interstate 40 on November 24, 2021, searched his vehicle, found bundled currency but no drugs, paraphernalia, or weapons, and arrested him for money laundering without probable cause. The complaint alleges the narcotics dog did not alert, that exculpatory facts were omitted from the probable-cause affidavit, and that the arrest was part of a revenue-driven interdiction and forfeiture practice.
