Mathew Boyd Eldreth alleges Houston Police Department Officers B.M. Bullin and C.C. Flores arrested him without a warrant from within the curtilage of his home on February 23, 2024, while he was unable to speak because of severe facial fractures, and then booked him under a false identity, resulting in 41 days of detention. The complaint further alleges deliberate indifference to serious medical needs, over-detention, and post-release retaliation and records obstruction by Harris County and City of Houston personnel. Claims include unlawful seizure, deliberate indifference, unconstitutional over-detention, retaliation and obstruction, and Monell liability under 42 U.S.C. § 1983.
